I have been passionate about creating patterns and designs for as long as I can remember. When I was younger I took every opportunity to draw and paint, sew and knit.

My obsession with design and textiles took me to study at art college and then to university – specialising in knitted textiles – to gain a BA (Hons) degree in knitwear design. I loved the concept of being able to turn my patterns into garments.

Today this has very much expanded into the endless possibilities of seeing my patterns across a broad range of surface applications. It’s my love of design that has seen me nurture my creative passion into print and pattern.

 

My designs are usually hand-drawn and manipulated in Adobe Illustrator. I love the never-ending permutations that can be created with motifs and colour. I can ‘disappear’ for hours when I am drawing, designing or painting, it brings me so much joy.

My philosophy for creativity is to enjoy what you do and gift it to the world by sharing it with others.
